The Herpetological Society of Ireland

The main aims of The Herpetological Society of Ireland are to advance, and promote, awareness and understanding of herpetofauna (e.g. Reptiles & Amphibians), the conservation of native & exotic herpetofauna, and Herpetoculture through education, learning, and research.

We aim to support activities of organisations having similar, or related, aims.

We aim to support, or create, opportunities for Society members to be involved with herpetology or to gain further education and skills.

These aims are to be met by means of Society printed literature, electronic notification, lectures, workshops and others means appropriate to specific goals.
